Building Resilience in Early Childhood: It's Not a Choice Between Happiness, Play and Success!
with Ken Ginsburg, MD

November 17, 2011, Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Ave., Winnetka

So often people think they have to choose between happiness today and a child well prepared for future academic challenges. In fact, if we pressure our kids too much today and take away the joys of childhood, they will be less prepared for a productive future. This talk will address the importance of play and a variety of resilience strategies that will prepare children to thrive far into the future.

Sponsored by FAN,  The Alliance for Early Childhood , Make-a-Messterpiece, and the Winnetka Community House.
